14th Annual Through the Garden Gate Garden Tour

Filed in Events by on April 25, 2016

The 14th Annual Through the Garden Gate Garden Tour is a collection of private gardens that are owned and maintained by Cobb Master Gardeners. They are also featuring a community garden, a woodland park, and a school garden. These gardens are examples of how it is possible to have a lovely garden that you, as a homeowner, can create. The Through the Garden Gate tour is designed to demonstrate to the public how the Master Gardener Volunteers of Cobb County maintain their own landscapes. Each year several private gardens and various projects are selected to be on tour. These are not “connoisseur” or “checkbook” gardens, but rather “teaching gardens” providing real-life lessons and inspiration. Come be a part of our 14th year!

The 14th Annual Through the Garden Gate Garden Tour will be on May 7, 2016 from 10 AM – 5 PM.

Tickets to the garden tour are $15 in advance/$20 day of tour. The Garden Tour and Garden Fair & Plant Sale are Master Gardener Volunteers of Cobb County’s major fundraising events each year. 100% of the proceeds are dedicated to funding approved Master Gardener projects and activities.
