We’re back to continue our series on Atlanta farmers markets in 2016, having already covered 2016 Intown Atlanta Farmers Markets, 2016 Northwest Metro Atlanta Farmers Markets and 2016 North Metro Atlanta Farmers Markets. Everyone seems to enjoy going to local farmers markets as it has certainly become one of the hotter trends in the past few years. Certainly, some farmers markets have a long history and some are newer additions to meet the growing demand of Atlanta consumers. Here are some great options for 2016 Northeast Metro Atlanta Farmers Markets.

Lilburn Farmers Market – Discover a wide variety of locally grown/produced products to enjoy. Each week vendors selling seasonal fruits and vegetables, herbs, preserves/jellies, whole grain breads, milk, cheese, meats, honey, pasta, handcrafted soaps, and tasty baked goodies fill the market. Snellville Farmers Market – features products that come from farms and gardens that, for the most part, are located within a 100-mile radius of Snellville. When you purchase local produce, rather than produce that has been shipped across the country, it comes from farmers who have nurtured their crops and usually picked their produce the day before the market, or even early that morning. For the consumer, this means the produce they purchase is freshly picked and flavorful. The farmers market in Snellville is open Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, June through September. Suwanee Farmers Market – fresh produce, lovely flowers, and yummy baked goods returns to Suwanee. The  market, in its 12th season, is almost as much a social event as it is an opportunity to access locally grown produce and a variety of other items, such as salsa, honey, eggs and meat, and baked goods.  growers, butchers, bakers, jams and soap makers, and others to participate in its 12th season. Tucker Farmers Market – People who live and work in the area will enjoy a safe, family-friendly gathering place to find the freshest local produce and prepared foods as the market brings together area farmers and artisans to offer their products to the community to promote the continued rejuvenation of the Main Street Tucker area. The farmers market in Tucker is open Thursdays from April 14 to December 15, 4:00pm-8:00pm. Click here for more information.

Norcross Community Farmers Market – provides locals with fresh produce and local goods to bring the farm to table experience to the Norcross community. The farmers market in Norcross is open Saturdays from June 4th to August 13th from 9am to 1pm. Click here for more information.

Stone Mountain Farmers Market – this producers only market features fresh fruits and vegetables, local honey, goat cheese, locally made soaps and more. The farmers market in Stone Mountain is held on Tuesdays from 4pm – 7pm , beginning on Tuesday, April 19th, in the Municipal Parking Lot on Main Street. Click here for more information.

Grayson Farmers Market – Connecting Friends, Food, and Farmers … Bringing you the best locally grown produce and hand made products with music and dinner in the park.
