Peachtree Hills

Located in southern Buckhead and just north of Midtown Atlanta, Peachtree Hills was established in 1910 as an Atlanta community.  Today, Peachtree Hills is still one of those places ‘where life is worth living.’ Peachtree Hills homes include mostly craftsman homes in a kaleidoscope of color, with intimate gardens and innovative fences and walls. Huge trees soar over the bungalows on the bluffs above Peachtree Creek.

Peachtree Hills offers a great intown location with mature trees and winding streets, but the convenience of a great location with easy access to Midtown and Buckhead office centers. You can also easily walk to the Lindbergh MARTA station from the neighborhood. And if you’re in the neighborhood, you must stop by the TreeHouse Restaurant and Pub. I was first introduced to this unique spot when I moved to Atlanta in the early 90s. Their slogan is “The hidden bar in Buckhead since 1986”, which is quite appropriate.

And from April to December, you will love the proximity to the Peachtree Road Farmers Market, located at the Cathedral of St. Phillip (as you head north on Peachtree, that is where Peachtree veers to the right and Andrews drive veers off to the left).

One of Buckhead’s coziest cottage neighborhoods, Peachtree Hills lies east of Peachtree Road between Peachtree Creek on the south and Lindbergh Drive on the north. Peachtree Hills Avenue is the main artery of Peachtree Hills as it takes you through the center of the neighborhood. Restaurants, a wine shop, and other small businesses can be found in “Downtown” Peachtree Hills, at the intersection of Kings Circle and Peachtree Hills Avenue.
