Welcome to Cabbagetown. Trendy new mill houses are bringing people to this old industrial area just southeast of downtown, which is becoming known for its eclectic style and friendly people. As the population grows, so does the influx of new restaurants and shops.

Cabbagetown is an Atlanta neighborhood in Fulton County, located adjacent to Oakland Cemetery, with Sweet Auburn, Inman Park, Reynoldstown and Grant Park surrounding it.


So essentially,  just east of the Downtown Connector, just north of I-20 and just west of Moreland Avenue. The Krog Street Tunnel, which connects Cabbagetown and Inman Park, has become the city’s centerpoint for street art.


Atlanta Public Schools System operates the public schools serve the neighborhood and include Parkside Elementary School, King Middle School and Maynard H. Jackson, Jr. High School. The neigborhood is located in the 30312 and 30316 zip codes.

The neighborhood’s annual festival is the Chomp and Stomp, a bluegrass and chili festival that takes place in November. The festival now includes a 5k road race (romp), in addition to bluegrass music  (stomp) and chili tasting (chomp). Over the past few years, Chomp and Stomp has experienced upwards of 16,000 attendees.
